The Amazing Amiga !

The Amiga is a wonderous computer. When it was developed in the early '80's, it was light years ahead of anything else on the market. All sorts of powerful sound and graphics capabilities were built right into the hardware. So, programs could be compact and powerful. Nothing on the market could touch it until about 10 years later. And when the world caught up with the Amiga it was done in an inferior way -- in bloated, bug-ridden software (hint: microsoft). Explore these sites and you will be enchanted (a word not often used with computers these days of constantly crashing windows!) by the Amiga.

Amiga Update is one of my favorite spots. Nothing fancy; just a lot of solid, useful information. Brad Web has been publishing this electronic newsletter since 1994. He reports on anything and everything Amiga from around the world.

The official Amiga web site for the company that owns the Amiga. Amiga.com contains information about new hardware and software for this phenomenal computer. The site also has Amiga FAQs.

Possibly the most comprehensive site is . It contains numerous links to sites all over the world covering everything about the Amiga from business applications to user groups to software.

Another comprehensive site that is easy to navigate and contains many surprising links is Amiga U. The links cover the world. Of special note are the links to Amiga on-line magazines. Lots of good stuff here.
